CBI FAQs

Where do I check in for registration and ask questions?

Visit us at the Information Booth, off the main corridor on the ground level of the Hilton (to the right as you exit the escalator or elevators). Check in, pick up by your name tag, and ask us any questions.

What can I do during the breaks?

Connect with friends and colleagues, visit the Gallery for a Polaroid photo at the Selfie Station, check out any resources at the Internet Café, or drop by the "Take a Break” room if you need some down time - and get ready for the next session.

Where and how do I evaluate the CBI?

For your Quick Reaction following each content session at the CBI, a QR code will be posted in each session. You can also find a link to the Quick Reaction and the Overall CBI Evaluation on the NTACT:C 2023 CBI webpages.

We will also follow up with you after the CBI to complete the Overall CBI Evaluation, if you don’t have a chance to complete the evaluation at the CBI.

Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) Continuing Education Credits

If you are a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), we are offering pre-approved CE credits for sessions. To receive credit to upload to your account, you must attend sessions during the CBI event (May 16 – May 18, 2023).

After attending the CBI, please complete the Overall CBI Evaluation on the NTACT:C 2023 CBI webpage. Ensure you complete all sections of the evaluation. You will be asked if you want to obtain CRC credits. Indicate “Yes” and a separate link will appear for you to finish the process to obtain your credits.

Health, safety, and comfort at the CBI

We are so glad to be “Back Together” in person this year! The latest guidance on COVID-19 from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the North Carolina Department of Health is being considered in the planning of the CBI. In alignment with current health guidance, masks are optional. Hand sanitizer and masks will be available at the Information Booth, and at stations throughout the Institute for those who need them.

Layers are advisable as the indoor temperature will vary. Bring comfortable clothes for enjoying the surrounding environment and accessing local restaurants within walking distance and via Light Rail.

Excited to see you in person soon! Additional questions? Contact us: ntact-collab@uncc.edu.
