College and Career Readiness is an emphasis across multiple Federal legislation initiatives aligning services and supports to students and youth with disabilities (e.g., IDEA, WIOA, ESSA, Perkins).  Student enrollment in vocational coursework — e.g. Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses — has been associated with decreased absences during school as well as increased graduation and  employment rates.
