Predictors of post-school success are evidence-based, research-based, and promising services, supports, and/or acquired skills associated with improved post-school outcomes for students with disabilities.
The PreK-Post12 Predictors of Success organizes the research-based predictors of post-school success in a table display. The grid indicates a timeframe for when different predictors might be delivered or experienced in an individual's career as a student and are structured around the OSEP initiative of Expect, Engage, and Empower.
The companion PreK-Post12 Predictors of Success: Sample Activities expands the first table, providing ideas for services, lessons, activities, and opportunities that educators, service providers, and family members may consider in planning and service delivery. The activities were informed by practitioners in the field from across the United States in partnership with NTACT:C.
Both resources may support strategic planning at student, school, or agency planning level.
