Description
In Episode 2, you will learn to identify students’ work interests, skills, abilities, and preference and use this information to match them to a work-based learning experience. You'll also be introduced to the asset-based inventory described below.
Asset-based inventory (or Asset-based youth profile) is an information gathering tool for discovering a youth’s positive attributes. Featuring individualization and self-determination, these profiles help youth identify what interests them, what they prefer, what supports they might need in the workplace to be successful, and what positive traits they have to build on. This tool is a practical and informal way to collect information in all the attributes of youth that will be relevant to identifying potential work experiences and jobs.
