In this session, we will explore strategies to better support the educational, career, and independent living goals of youth with foster care experience. Participants will learn about the importance of partnering with Independent Living Programs in their local communities, and child welfare systems in promoting successful outcomes.

Training Objectives:

  • Understand the unique needs and strengths of students in foster care during secondary transition.
  • Explore collaborative approaches across education, independent living programs, and child welfare systems.
