About this Event
This webinar will help special education, career and technical education, pre-employment transition services (Pre-ETS), and vocational rehabilitation professionals connect students goals and assessment results with career pathways.
Using student-directed planning strategies and a pathway alignment map, participants will work through a student case and explore how education and vocational rehabilitation teams can coordinate planning, services, and supports for students with disabilities.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Connect student voice and transition assessment results with postsecondary goals, the IEP course of study, CTE pathways, Pre-ETS, and VR services.
- Use student-directed planning strategies to guide collaborative career pathway planning.
- Identify how special education, CTE, Pre-ETS, and VR personnel can coordinate responsibilities, services, and supports for students with disabilities.
