About this Event

This session focuses on strengthening state systems of professional development (PD) through cross-agency collaboration and aligned implementation efforts. Participants will receive an overview of the NTACT:C State Systems of Professional Development framework, including the five core elements that support high-quality, sustainable PD across agencies. The session will explore how cross-agency teams can design, implement, and evaluate aligned PD systems, and how data and stakeholder input can support continuous improvement. Participants will also learn about the NTACT:C Professional Development Community of Practice (CoP) as a strategy for shared learning, collaboration, and ongoing alignment across states and partner agencies.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify the five core elements of an effective state system of professional development
  2. Describe how cross-agency collaboration strengthens PD systems
  3. Examine how data and stakeholder input inform PD priorities
  4. Explore how Communities of Practice support sustainability and shared learning
  5. Reflect on current PD efforts and identify opportunities for alignment and growth
