About this Event

Educating youth about community navigation and using a diverse range of transportation services is often forgotten in transition planning. Join national leaders in this interactive webinar to learn about the key elements of community navigation, accessibility, and using a variety of transportation services. We will also share results of two recent research studies focused on transportation.

Training Objectives:

  • Enhance understanding of the key elements of travel instruction
  • Acquire content to develop the knowledge and skills of youth around community accessibility and navigation
  • Learn how education and workforce development professionals can influence community transportation and mobility services for youth to facilitate postschool outcomes.
  • Learn how transportation research can inform policy and practice. Consider how research and evaluation can inform practice and further development of solutions for transitioning young adults
