About this Event

Helping students with disabilities succeed after high school takes strong partnerships among schools, colleges/universities, vocational rehabilitation, and workforce partners. In this webinar, panelists from a community college, a four-year college, and a university will share how these partners can better prepare students for college and career pathways.

Panelists will discuss the academic, transition planning, and self-advocacy/self-determination skills students need for success after high school. Panelists will also highlight programs, services, and supports that help students access accommodations, navigate campus life, and reach their postsecondary goals.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe how schools, vocational rehabilitation, and colleges/universities can work together to help students with disabilities explore careers.
  2. Identify ways partners can help students earn credentials and get ready for college or work.
  3. Explain how working together across systems can help students with disabilities get competitive integrated jobs.
