About this Event

Join us for the national kickoff webinar introducing the newly refunded NTACT:C, where we will outline the Center’s expanded mission, priorities, and technical assistance supports for State Education Agencies (SEAs), State Vocational Rehabilitation Agencies (SVRAs), workforce partners, youth- and family-serving systems, and federal collaborators. This webinar will provide an overview of the New NTACT:C Key Priorities:

  • Strengthening state capacity to use valid, reliable data (SPP/APR Indicators B1, B2, B13, B14; RSA-911; WIOA indicators).
  • Expanding aligned professional development and coaching across education and VR systems.
  • Improving meaningful engagement of students, youth, and families.
  • Enhancing access to career pathways, work-based learning, CTE, pre-ETS, postsecondary options, and competitive integrated employment.
  • Elevating youth and family engagement through the expanded role of YETI and development of plain-language, accessible, culturally responsive resources.
  • Strengthening collaboration across federal investments, TA centers, PTIs, workforce partners, and national initiatives.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the expanded mission, scope, and priorities of NTACT:C under the newly refunded grant.
  2. Identify how NTACT:C supports state capacity-building through data-informed practices, aligned with federal accountability measures (SPP/APR, RSA-911, and WIOA indicators).
  3. Explain NTACT:C’s technical assistance approach to strengthening alignment across education, vocational rehabilitation, workforce, and youth- and family-serving systems.
  4. Recognize strategies for improving meaningful engagement of students, youth, and families, including the use of accessible, plain-language, and culturally responsive resources and the expanded role of YETI.
  5. Identify opportunities to partner with NTACT:C to enhance access to career pathways, work-based learning, pre-ETS, postsecondary options, and competitive integrated employment.
