About this Event

Based on USDOE RSA's and DOL ETA's jointly developed Collaboration Opportunities: WIOA Youth and Vocational Rehabilitation Programs publication brief, this webinar was developed and presented by RSA and ETA, in partnership with NTACT:C on the ways the public Vocational Rehabilitation and the WIOA Youth programs can work together to support youth and students with disabilities transition to post-secondary education and/or employment. This webinar is worth 1.0 CRC Credit when viewed and reading the associated materials.

Training Objectives:

  • Improve coordination of workforce preparation activities and employment services between these two programs for youth with disabilities.
  • Provide strategies and resources to increase collaboration between the State and local agencies under these two programs, as well as program providers, so they may more effectively serve youth with disabilities.
