About this Event

Regardless of individual circumstances, work-based learning experiences provide the gateway for competitive integrated employment success. This session, presented by NTACT:C staff, provides participants with examples of effective practice strategies, activities, and resources to support the development and implementation of WBLE’s for students with complex support needs.

Training Objectives: 

  • Describe the value of implementing meaningful planning, engagement and data collecting strategies in developing and implementing work-based learning experiences for students with complex support needs.
  • Identify work-based learning experience practices that foster and strengthen employer, interagency, family/caregiver, and student partnerships.
  • Describe activities and resources to support the development and implementation of WBLE’s for students with complex support needs.
